Shelly Broome As a semi-native of New Mexico (my father retired here from the Air Force in 1985) I have lived in Albuquerque since 1979 and the East Mountains for the past 11 years. Over the last 15 years I have worked with the top real estate offices in the Albuquerque and East Mountain areas. Many of those years have been in a management/ administrative position, helping the agents with their transactions behind the scene. The real estate field is always changing and always exciting. So, two years ago I decided to go after my real estate license, which now makes me a licensed administrative professional to help our agents even more. Now, with the Prudential Sandia family of offices in Edgewood, I have found my home. Enjoying what the Edgewood and East Mountain communities have to offer makes working with its members that much more enjoyable. Insurance – Almost 2 years ago I joined The Hayes Agency as a CSR to assist with incoming calls and processing payments for our insured. Since then, I have learned a great deal about insurance and am learning more and more each day. Insurance is very similar to real estate in some ways and very different at the same time. Both are very time sensitive and needed by everyone. The intricacies of insurance are vast and, at times, very complex which makes the insurance field extremely challenging and interesting. In the near future I plan to become licensed in insurance as well, making it possible to be of greater assistance to both my Agents and our clients. |

Being an active duty military family I have become very educated in the process of having to pick up and move my life and family in short notice. Having learned a lot about the process of buying and selling homes, I understand the challenges a family is faced with when relocating. The fear of buying or renting a home in a place you know nothing about. However, I have learned it can actually be a fun process if you have someone guiding the way and taking care of your best interests from start to finish. That's why I decided to become a real estate professional. I want to do what I do best for other families. No matter if you are moving across the globe or if you're moving across town it should be an enjoyable experience. Or at least not a painful one. If you are planning on renting a small home or buying a million dollar home, everyone deserves the same professionalism, respect, and service. I have been in and around the real estate business since 1985. Having experience in areas not limited to but including the real estate business and the title company. I love what I do and would like to help you find your next home in our beautiful "Land of Enchantment |
